Administrative Team
Sir Aaron Mason
Training Coordinator, Contract Specialist, and Executive Assistant
I’m Sir Aaron Mason, and my journey into the field of marriage and family therapy has been both an academic pursuit and a personal calling. I began my training at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, where I not only deepened my clinical foundation but also led initiatives to support minority students, most notably through the Strengthening Our Community program, designed to foster inclusive and empowering spaces within higher education.
My commitment to advancing cultural equity in mental health continued at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, where I completed all but my dissertation and was honored to receive the AAMFT Minority Fellowship. This experience enriched my understanding of systemic influences on human connection and helped shape my holistic approach to therapy.
Currently, I’m honored to serve as an administrator at Shine Counseling, where I support other therapists in strengthening their clinical skills and oversee administrative processes that promote high-quality client care. I’m passionate about contributing to an environment where growth and healing can flourish, for both clients and clinicians alike.
At the heart of my work is a spiritual commitment to living in alignment with love, acceptance, and humility. I strive to walk through the world with compassion, believing that healing and harmony emerge when we create space for authenticity and connection.
