Rose Carwile

LPC

Hello! My name is Rose, and I look forward to working with you. I believe that humans have an inherent capacity for growth and self-healing when provided with a supportive therapeutic relationship.

My therapeutic approach is primarily person-centered, focusing on the individual’s unique experiences and needs. I am also deeply influenced by existential therapy, which emphasizes the importance of finding meaning and purpose in life. By creating a non-judgmental and accepting space, I encourage clients to explore their inner world and gain insight. Through this exploration, I support clients in making choices that align with their true self.

Some other approaches I use in my practice are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Gottman Method. By integrating behavioral techniques, I provide clients with practical tools, making it possible for them to make progress toward their goals.

I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2021 from Bushnell University. Before pursuing a career in counseling, I spent several years working in the forestry and fishing industries in Oregon and Alaska. My background and experiences have helped me to understand that each person has a unique culture. I strive to understand the personal beliefs and perspectives of my clients to the best of my ability. I do so by remaining humble and curious, and by building a relationship where my clients feel safe sharing with me about who they are.

I have a particular interest in helping clients understand and heal the different parts of themselves, especially those impacted by early attachment experiences. I am also dedicated to helping clients improve their relationships by developing deeper, more meaningful connections with others. With a focus on self-understanding and communication, I guide clients through the complexities of interpersonal challenges, empowering them to build more fulfilling relationships.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon (C8080), and I must follow mandated reporting laws as per state regulations. At times I may seek supervision or consultation. Information regarding the limitations to confidentiality will be provided to clients on an ongoing basis.
