Therapy is not always about fixing a problem so much as it is about deepening our relationship with life. I see the therapeutic process as a path toward greater wholeness, complexity, and truthfulness in how we live. Often, the parts of ourselves we’ve hidden—out of fear, shame, or survival—are also the very keys to our vitality. In our work together, I aim to help you reclaim the meaning that may have been obscured by pain, repetition, or resignation.
My role is to walk with you as you explore your emotional terrain—to help you hear the deeper questions life is asking of you. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that no longer serve you, the symptoms that speak in code, and the possibilities that arise when we turn inward with honesty and compassion. Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, or simply a feeling of being stuck or “off,” our work will be guided by the belief that your psyche contains the raw material for transformation.
I work with adults and adolescents in an atmosphere of collaboration, curiosity, and respect. I tailor each treatment plan to reflect your unique needs and story, drawing on an integrated approach that includes Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Person-Centered, and mindfulness-based practices.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and began my career in substance use disorder treatment. I spent five years working closely with individuals facing the complex interplay of addiction and trauma. That foundation continues to inform my work today.
Outside of the office, I value time with my wife and our dogs, reading detective novels, and painting. I know from experience that connection, play, and solitude are not luxuries—they’re essential to healing and resilience, for clients and therapists alike. If you’re considering therapy, I honor the courage it takes to begin. I’d be privileged to join you on this path of inquiry, healing, and renewal.
