Professional Counseling Associate

My practice is dedicated to supporting children, teens, and perinatal clients as they navigate mental health challenges, while equipping parents with tools to better understand and connect with their child. I believe that when children receive quality mental health care, families are better able to build lives that feel balanced, hopeful, and empowering. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive space where children and families feel truly seen, heard, and encouraged to grow together.

I work with early childhood (ages 0–6) and their families, youth (ages 6–17), and perinatal clients. My areas of focus include life transitions such as separation and changes in schools or daycares, as well as supporting parents during the perinatal period. I also help families navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, emotional regulation, parent–child relationship concerns, and behavioral challenges.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative and individualized, drawing from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Children (DBT-C), Attachment-Based Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy.

Originally from Seattle, I have lived throughout the West Coast and enjoy traveling, spending time with loved ones, hiking, exercising, and being near the ocean. I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Oregon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Seattle Pacific University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Oregon, practicing under the supervision of Desiree A. Dalkiran, LPC #C5705. Seeking support is an act of courage and self-compassion, and being here is a meaningful step toward creating the life you envision for yourself and your family.
